After transferring to UIUC, my first internship was Graphics Editor at The Daily Illini. I was the point person for all graphical elements from July 2005 to May of 2006, and in so doing created every supplementary cover, banner, tag, nearly every infographic, and advised in typography and layout. I won three awards that year at the Illinois College Press Association Awards, including 1st Place for Graphic Illustration.
